Artist, musician & creative technologist
Sound, movement and imagery.A practice shaped by curiosity.
I came to music with a story to tell...
about finding a sense of sanctuary within myself.
Wanting to give that story greater expression...
led me into animation and visual art.
Along the way, I developed a craft...
that could serve more than my own imagination.
Today, I bring sound, movement and imagery...
to ideas of my own...
and those entrusted to me.

For 2027, I’m proposing a new stage of The AttaBotty Experience: augmented scenes that transform with the music, followed by a free public exhibition that carries the work beyond the performance.

William Stewart / ATTABOTTY
I’m William Stewart, the New York-based artist, musician and creative technologist behind ATTABOTTY.
I began making music to tell my story: learning to find steadiness, welcome life and hold it a little more lightly. “Your mind is your sanctuary” expresses something I continue to explore through my art: how going inward can deepen our appreciation for being here.
Wanting to give my music greater expression led me to create animated visuals. I fell in love with graphic design and graphic art, expanding into filmmaking, animation and 3D. Building a production studio brought new collaborations and creative challenges. Each gave me a reason to develop my craft further, eventually bringing digital creations into physical spaces through augmented reality and 3D fabrication.
Today, I work across composition, music production, studio and live sound engineering, sound design, filmmaking and animation. My 3D practice spans modeling, sculpting, texturing, rigging and compositing, with animation at its center. I also develop AI-assisted workflows and agentic systems for creative production and the business behind it.
My work has appeared in museum and public exhibitions in New York, Arizona and New Jersey, including a year-long AR exhibition at Liberty State Park, overlooking the Statue of Liberty. I’ve received Curator’s Choice recognition from Balanced Forces and created commissioned and collaborative work with .ART, Illust Studios, One Love Art DAO and Efdot, alongside performance support from Lil Nouns.
I composed and produced “Stay Based,” an anthem for Base’s Onchain Summer in 2024, released with Losi. The original and its nine remix releases have collectively reached more than 12,000 editions. In 2025, artwork I co-created helped a client collection sell out in under 15 hours, generating over $130,000 in gross primary sales.
Alongside my own work, I help artists and organizations develop theirs. Those collaborations draw on the same attention I bring to a composition or an animation: understanding what an idea needs, then finding the form and the process that let it come through.
I’m now developing The AttaBotty Experience, bringing music, narration and augmented reality together around questions of life, death, imagination and inner sanctuary. The journey leads back toward the body and everyday life, with a greater appreciation for both.
New work, experiments and moments from the studio and stage.
